2x6 grid "Jumbo" single-level, open-top, suitable for 2-5 guinea pigs. 30" x 90" when assembled.
    Item #: CAGE-JU
    Availability: In Stock

    Jumbo Cage Dimensions

    • Interior: 27" x 84.5" = about 16 Square Feet of cage space!
    • Exterior: 30" x 90" when assembled = you will need a table space of about 2.5 feet by 7.5 feet to accommodate this cage.

    Coro Height Preference

This refers to the HEIGHT of the COROPLAST on ONE long-side of the cage -- for the back wall.

    • 6" (inches) is standard. 6" sides all the way around maximizes ventilation and visibility, and it is generally high enough to keep in bedding for most guinea pigs. Also, a water bottle spout resting on the top of the 6" Coroplast is a good height for guinea pigs to drink from.
    • 12" (inches) is good if the long side of your cage is going up against a wall. This helps prevent hay (and in some cases bedding) from being kicked up and getting stuck against the wall. You can always cut it down later if you decide it doesn't work for you. The 12" option is just to help you keep your floor and wall cleaner in some circumstances.

NOTE: We do NOT offer 12" walls all the way around because we do NOT recommend it. It cuts off too much air circulation for the guinea pigs. In addition, even if you wanted it regardless of our advice, coroplast is only 48 inches wide and that would require 51 inches.

    Cage Kit Includes

    • (16) 14" Grids in black or white (safe grids with 1 3/8" openings)
    • (32) Connectors in black or white
    • 4mm Coroplast bottom in your choice of 15 colors!
The base is cut and scored so you only have to secure the flaps. (Coroplast base is scored and folded for shipping, which makes an indented "crush" line, but it does not affect the function of the cage. It's barely noticeable when fully assembled.)
    • Cable ties that match the grid color. (Using cable ties to reinforce the grid connections helps make the cage extra tight and super secure.)
    • Easy-to-follow, color assembly instructions with photos
    • Two-page Guinea Pig Care Sheet

Please NOTE about the Cage Bottom

The cage does not have grids on the bottom. They are unnecessary. The cage is designed to sit nicely on a flat surface -- a table top, a desk, the floor (if it's draft-free), etc.

However, if you desire, you can make a cage stand out of grids. Please see our matching Jumbo Cage Stand if you are interested in a cage stand.

We include detailed instructions with every kit, but if you have questions, we are always more than happy to help you out! Just contact us--pop us a note with your phone number and we will call you back as soon as possible with in-person assistance!

Please do not put the Coroplast directly on a hardwood floor. Moisture from the air and/or wood can get trapped and has nowhere to go and hence can cause sweating -- which has NOTHING to do with the quality or character of the cage. Nor is the cage leaking. All you have to do is put something absorbent down first like a towel or carpet and set the cage bottom on that instead of directly on wood.

    NEW! Rivets on the Flaps!

    • We've updated our cage design to make it even easier and more secure than ever! All of our Coroplast bases now come with nice, clean holes -- professionally punched in the appropriate locations. We include our new, easy-snap-in plastic rivets for securing the base.
    • The rivets, while very secure when in place, can also be popped back open with a little separation pressure should you need to dissemble your cage and are generally reuseable.

How many Guinea Pigs will fit in a 2x6?

    • Up to 4 adult guinea pigs comfortably. It varies a bit, depending upon your group. For example, rarely will 4 adult males be compatible even in this large of a cage. Usually 3 males is about the largest group that will get along together in any caged environment in the long run.
    • It would be possible to house a larger, well-bonded group of 5, perhaps as many as 6, but that would really be pushing it.
    • ONE guinea pig needs at least a 2x3 grid-sized cage. And this is why the JUMBO size is IDEAL if you need to divide a cage because a pair is fighting OR you need to separate a male and female to prevent pregnancy. You just need a Cage Divider or our "Wall of Silence" down the middle of a 2x6 to instantly create two 2x3 grid cages.

I KNOW this cage will fit in my space!

I've read the cage dimensions and have measured my space. GRIDS are 14", NOT a 12" FOOT! For example: 2x4 Grids needs 2.5 x 5 FEET of space.

    I Definitely Recommend!

Before I had this amazing cage, I had a cage from the pet store that was equal to a 2*1 C&C cage. I have 2 male piggies and that was really tiny! I knew I had to upgrade. When it came to my porch, I was excited and opened it up immediately! It was easy to assemble but the holes to put the plastic rivets in was too small. I had to make them bigger by cutting them. Once my piggies were in for the first time, the first thing they went to was the food! It was surprisingly cheap for a giant high quality cage! They have been popcorning so much they crash into the bars! Ive had it for a couple months now and I will definitely buy lofts, lookout lounges, kitchens, and stuff from the Guinea Pig Market!

This cage came in so quickly and was so easy to assemble that me a 13 year old girl could build it all by herself. My 2 boys love it so much, especially with the loft too! There is so much room for them to run around. Definitely recommend buying!

    Amazing Cage

I ordered this cage for my 3 girls recently, and they love it. There’s so much space to run around and play. It’s very easy to clean, sturdy, and accessible (especially if you get the stand.) It also wasn’t difficult to put together. 100% worth the cost.

    2x6 jumbo cage

I just received this cage today and it came on the exact day it was supposed to, I was able to set it up easily in about 20 minutes. This cage is HUGE and my two males love it, before they were in a 2x4 cage which I realized really was too small for two males, constant fighting and chattering but now they can peacefully live with plenty of space to themselves, I can fit both their hidey holes and hammock, 2 food bowls, big water bottle and hay rack and they still have a ton of room to run as much as they would like! I love it and how simple this cage is and also love there is no top as it's easier to pick them up and clean.

You get what you pay for

The only problem with this cage is because of the gap between the base and sides, hay gets everywhere and also it’s hard to find a water bottle that can reach into the cage enough for the pigs to drink. The Chloroplast on mine was also bent in the middle. Other than that it’s an okay cage there’s plenty of space for my two girls to run around

    Love it!

I just received and put together this product and all 4 of them love it. Popcorning everywhere. Of course it’s huge. I knew I had to space but still after I had it all set up I was still taken back by it. Honestly whatever makes my piggies happy makes me happy. I highly recommend.

    A great home

My cavys Lilo and Eve have enjoyed their 2x6 now for a couple years. They like it so much that when I put the ramp out for floor time, they spend maybe 5 minutes out and then scamper right back to home. Definitely guinea pig approved!

    Boars Fell In Love

My two boars are so happy with their brand new jumbo sized cage. I recommend this to anyone who has two boars. This cage gives them space. You will see such a good, positive difference in their attitude.

    Happy guineas

Due to lack of funds at the time of purchase, we were forced to buy one of the very small cages for our guineas. Now that they have this jumbo cage, they are so much happier and active. My family and I could watch them run around and play all day! The cage was very easy to assemble and the instructions were very direct. Would recommend this to ANY guinea owner! The shipping was also very fast. Alice and Ruby are two happy piggies, and I hope this cage will help them warm up to us a little bit more. I'm sure we'll be getting them some roommates soon! :)

    Great Cage

I love how big my 2x6 cage is! I haven't put my guinea pigs in yet but I did a test run and they were freaking out and in love! Very worth it

    love it

I love my cage. my guinea pigs hated their small cage and they were fighting everyday before I got this cage after I got the 2x7 cage they started to play and make happy noises. I recommend this cage to anyone who has 2 or more pigs

I got this 2x6 C&C cage to accommodate my five very small sows. I have had them in it for a w(h)eek and I'm thoroughly impressed. My guineas were previously in a much smaller cage and were quite lazy. I am so happy because I can tell they are LOVING it! They run laps and play together. When they're tired of each other, there is PLENTY of room for them to get away from one another for alone time. I am getting the cavy bistro (sold on this site) in a few days as a kitchen area. I also plan on getting the stand to raise them up to the perfect height as they are on my floor now. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone with 2-4 piggies of regular size. It was very easy to assemble (20 minutes), cleans easily, and was delivered to me promptly. I am very happy and so are my girls!

P.S. I also recommend the fleece flippers for this C&C cage. It's a great product.

I absolutely LOVE my new Jumbo C&C Cage!

Just finished putting together my new cage and placing my Guinea Pigs in it. I'm not sure who is happier with it?! My cage actually arrived a day earlier than it was scheduled to! Set-up was quick and easy. The only difficult part was trying to decide where my piggies' "stuff" should be placed! I'm super thrilled with it and am already planning on buying more cages, cafés, patios, cage stands, & bins from the Guinea Pig Cages Store!

    My new C&C cage

I think my pigs are in love! They are popcorning all around the new cage, its spacious, easier to clean, and best of all fun for me and my pigs! This is the best cage I have ever owned! Your guinea pigs will not be disappointed, and neither will you!

Oops, waited too long, don't make the same mistake!

I made the mistake of not buying a C & C cage from the start. There were no rescue places to adopt a cavie so I bought my 2 males from the pet store along with the biggest cage I can find. They were small at the time so I thought it was ok. As they grew, they started to fight and took turns living in the 1 igloo (too small for 2). When I moved them to the C&C cage, it was too late, they couldn't live with each other because they both wanted to dominate. Now, they are side by side with a clear divider to see and speak to each other. It's a thin line between love and hate and that's what they have with each other. Don't make the mistake I did. They now have their own brothers to hang with but I'll find them laying side by side every night with the clear divider between them. (feeling guilty)

I used to have a 2x4 Large C&C cage with 3 guinea pigs living in there. I wanted to upgrade to this cage because one it was sorta of cramped for 3 guinea pigs and two because one of my guinea pigs doesnt really get that along with my other pig so I read the bigger the cage the better! Im glad that they have all this space saves time if your busy and dont have time to do floortime!

    Change was mind-boggling!

I have had an Abyssinian guinea pig, (Leonardo) for about four months now8-0. I had him in an XL pet store cage and after adding a pigloo and a hay rack, etc, I noticed that he didn't seen to have much room, but I didn't pay much attention to it because I thought I couldn't get him anything bigger. It went on like that for about three months, until I discovered C&C cages! I bought a 2x6 grid cage and assembled it as soon as it came. I decided to wait before writing a review to see if there were any behavioral changes after "new cage syndrome". I'm glad to report that the change was mind boggling! He comes out to greet me almost as soon as I walk into the room, he makes weeking noises I hadn't heard before, and he is overall more affectionate now that he is in a C&C cage.

    Had to make some tweaks

Very good product but i had to make a few tweaks here and there. If you have the time to get the supplies yourself you should you will probably save a lot of money but it is a great product.

    Not bored anymore

I bought a peruvian cavy a couple months ago, his name is Mohawk, and he is 7 months old. I had him in a much smaller cage, and I was doing a search online for more care information and found this website. I saw pictures and immediately fell in love with the cages. I decided my Mohawk was bored and he didn't have much room to run around. So, I decided to get him the bigger cage and a friend. My new cavy is a baby, he is only 2 months old. They get a long so well. They love their new cage! They chase each other around. It's so fun watching them play. The cage is so impressive. It is made of great materials, and it was so easy to set up. Thank you Sue for a great cage!:-)

    Piggies are in heaven!

i ordered the 2x6 cage from sue. it got here this morning and my piggies are in HEAVEN!! they love it! they have been squeakin and purring and romping around all day. I love seeing them so happy and having so much room to run around. Ordered some extra cubes in pink from walmart to make another level soon, cant wait!!

New pets seem right at home now!

I just bought a C&C Cage and my little piggies, Motley (brown one) and Sonny (blonde one) absolutely loves it! I've only had Sonny a few days but he ran and ran around it like he's been with us forever! :-)

    Thank you!

If I hadn't found this site, my pigs would be in a 30" petstore cage with no floor time and no vegetables. I might have even been breeding them. When I found this site I was simple astounded at what I was doing wrong. Now my two girls are in a 2x7.5 C&C cage with fleece bedding lots of hay, Oxbow pellets, floor time every day and more vegetables then I eat. Two new rescue pigs are comming home later today!: ) Thank you so much!

    Months later--still the perfect solution

I have had our c and c cage now for a couple of months. If you are lucky enough to have come to this website BEFORE you buy your piggies and waste your money on pet store cages - GOOD FOR YOU! Take the advice here and get a c and c cage. I loved it the day we got it (so did our pigs, we have 3) and months later, it still is the perfect solution. If you have already wasted your money on expensive cages, you can still purchase a c and c cage and come out ahead. My advice is to get the largest one you can find and then do all the research on using fleece in the bottom of your cage instead of litter. You will, in no time save hundreds that you would have spent on litter. You will be happy and so will your pigs!

    Popcorns all over the place

I just recieved my 2x6 c&c cage from Sue, and I love it, as do my pigs. It is huge! My pigs were so happy, there were popcorns all over the place. I orderd it because I couldn't find any of the right materials. If you can't find any of the materials, then I woul dhighly reccomend ordering it from sue. Her service is wonderful. Thanks sue!:)

    Wonderful service

I just orderd a cage from sue so we'll see haw it goes. So far her service has been wonderful. I'll keep ya updated:);-):-*::)

    Two boars are buds now

Monty and Igore lived in smaller separate cages before I purchased a big cavy cage from here. The guys got along great when they had free roaming time in the hallway and when they finally got to live together in the same cage their friendship only got stronger. They love being roommates :)

Had to rearrange my room, but totally worth it!

Lotus really loves her new cage!! She was a little scared at first, since she had more room than she's ever had before, but after a few minutes she started exploring and started having fun. It was cute. I was really happy when I got it, it came a lot quicker than I thought it would, and it came to me on Christmas Eve. Sweeet! I misjudged how big it would be, and I'm way glad of that. I just only have to rearrange things in my room now. Anyway, your site is really awesome, and your customer service is way better. I was still really shocked to have received it when I did. Thank You Sue!! Oh, and now that she has enough room I'm going to get her a sister from my local Guinea Pig rescue. I'm sure she will have much more fun once she gets a friend.

    Trained pigs now, adding more!

I first bought my cage as a two-level and had it assembled as such, until I had to clean it the first time. Then I adjusted it to a 2x3 for bedtime and a 3x3 for playtime - and the door stays open all day so they can run between the two areas. The areas are separated by three grids - the middle one is a door and the solid grids on each side have the hay holders attached. The piggies love it. They know that when the door gets opened in the morning, their breakfast is waiting for them - as if they didn't already hear the bag that holds their greens and are both at the corner whistling and squeaking for food. Sue has been wonderful by custom cutting my floor. Given the room that I have, I am adopting a third piggie very soon.

The C&C cages are absolutely fabulous! I have a 2x6 for three boars, and a 2x5 for the others! They love the space and getting away from each other at times! Thank you, Sue! :)

Happier pigs and I saved money!

I just received my cage this past Wednesday (great job on the shipping, sue; it only took one day). My guinea pigs (Cuy and Hisao) love it! At first, they were a little timid because they were in a new environment, but after a bit they were running around, exploring every corner. After just a few days, I've noticed a very big change in their behavior. While they were active before, they are even more active now! They also seem to be a whole lot happier. My piggies' happiness is great, but the extra money in my pocket is just as good. I was thinking of getting a bigger pet store cage (thinking, in my ignorance, that the only place for a cage is a crappy pet store) that would have cost me $120. Sue's cage was less than half that amount!

    From miserable to enjoying life!

We have two piggies and we just bought the largest cage from sue. They were miserable before. Now they hop all over, talk more and my daughter is having fun just watching them. Also, I was able to make a "cave" for them with the extra coroplast that was sent and they LOVE it!!! Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:):):)"

Fat pig is now healthy! Thanks!

All 6 of my piggies love their cages! I got the largest possiblt size (2 actually!) and my pigs love them. My fattest pig rodney has visibly lost weight and they seem happier and livelier. I would recommend this site to anyone with pigs. Love, ellie, scooter, rodney, dizzy, parker, layla, blair

I work at a Pet Store and I recommend your cages!

Hello, I work at a pet store and own 3 wonderful pigs. Working and owning pigs, I have some experience under my hat. From everything I have seen and used, C&C cages are the best. They provide proper ventilation and avoid making the pigs feel as though they are locked in a cage. Urine build up does not stick to the bottom, so it's easy to clean. Most importantly they provide the space pigs really need to run around and get exersize. At work, I always recommend these cages to pet owners who are buying pigs or who already own them. Many people come back to the store saying how much they love the cages. Thanks cavy cages!

    Blooming piggies

We bought 2 pigs and put them in the largest cage the pet store sold. They were skiddish and stayed in their hide-a-way. It had to be cleaned constantly. Within 10 minutes of putting them in our new cage from Sue, they were running around, coming up to our hands, and chortling happily. It's like night and day. A large cage is a must have!
