After many years of many creatures I recently had lost a pig :-( and when I consulted our guinea pig rescue it was also recommended I increase cage size esp if I added 2 pigs! My own attempt at cutting coroplast with not sharp enough blade and inaccurate measuring tools ended with a much too small box so I ordered from Sue's cages, couldn't have been a better experience. So helpful from start to delivery of product and always available to answer questions. Once I added my females to the new c and c cage even my old gal (almost 7!) started popcorning again! They are vocal again and happy sounds! My new fellow a neutered male was challenged by the oldest female so I need to go much slower in introducing him, but he proved for the first time ever to me guinea pigs love critter bags to hide in! Before my pigs always would just sit ontop of the bag or sack and soil it in short time! So good to see him going in and out and really enjoying his accessorized cage as well as ample daily floor time. I am like a child with my first pet all over again! So happy to see them all react so nicely to larger cage and toys i.e. soft sacks and critter cups! I need to order many more!

I ordered this cage in purple along with the stand. It all arrived very quickly in the mail. It was pretty easy to assemble, not that hard at all. I have been wanting to get this cage for over a year and I finally got it, and I don’t regret it!! Although the price can be a bit high it is definitely worth it, guinea pigs aren’t cheap. My two piggies Sparkles and Munchkin love their new purple cage that they got as an early Christmas Present!! Great product and service!!

I have two young female pigs, they are under a year old, and are still growing.I had them in a enclosure I purchased at pet smart, and it was the biggest one there. It was much two small I had to clean it twice a week, and my pigs did not seem happy. I decided to do some research! I have had pigs in the past that adopted that were adults, but I kept them apart. I am so happy I found this website, and it was so helpful. I bought this cage, and my pigs are completely different. They have not been bickering. They are running around, and "popping" its truly amazing how much happier my pigs are, and now they don't have to go the bathroom where they eat. They love the upstairs too. They run up and down all day. Its truly fantastic the change in their personalities. Thank you so much!

We adopted 2 girls in November. They were living in a fairly small pet store cage. They would always just sit in a corner or wheek quietly to be let out. The bedding was very messy and they always tried to eat it and kick it out of the cage. It was hard to fit toys in, and they bickered sometimes. Then, we purchased this cage. It was so fun to pick out the colors, and shipping was super quick. We also switched to fleece for them. What a huge and amazing difference! Now they run around popcorning and never bicker. They are very fun to watch and are very active. They are do much friendlier and we have revived many complements and friend with Guinea Pigs is thinking about switching to fleece and a C & C cage. Although we change the fleece daily instead of weekly, it is so much cleaner and they love lounging on the soft floor of their cage. They also love the open top, being able to see what is going on and get air circulation. We can put lots of toys and hideys for them without worrying about cage space. I recently got the Large cage with the small loft for my single pig, Elliott and am thrilled with this decision. It took about 3 hours to assemble and was packaged with minimum packaging, something that is important to me. I love the guinea pig care sheet that was included with the instructions - so thoughtful. Once Elliott was moved to this cage, he really opened up. Now, he is commonly out of his hide, is squeaking more and sleeps out in the open in his hay/litterbox. He feels secure under the loft, so he spends a lot of time there. I use the loft to store his extra fleece since he doesn't use it. I love this cage and so does Elliott! We will be getting another one for our second pig soon, so they can have matching cages next to each other. :)

I'm so happy with our cavy's new home! We ordered it last weekend and it came in the mail today. (Less than a week!) It was just as we expected (colors were correct, holes drilled in the choroplast correctly, all the pieces were there) and the ramp was super cool! My husband and I put it together easily.



The best part was how our guinea pig acted once he went in to his new home! He is young and still pretty skittish, but he was having a blast! I have never seen him run like this, doing laps around the cage and popcorning all over the place! You could just tell he was thrilled!

This cage exceeded my expectations. The design is perfect for my two girls. The loft is a great addition; they take turns chilling out when they occasionally get annoyed with each other. They also stay up there when I clean the main area of the cage. The cage was easy to put together with clear directions. I was also impressed with the notes that outlined care for guinea pigs and the importance of adoption and rescue. Sue was outstanding during the entire process of my purchase. She helped to confirm my very rural ( read confusing) address and the cage was delivered promptly.

My new cage is so eye catching with all the colors I chose! I have recently adopted a young, mistreated bull. He was shy and I never saw him pop or heard him squealing with happiness no matter what I tried. I am not lying when I say within a day he was running around with his baby “brother” and popping for the first time in two months!! Then, a few days later, he started making happy noises when I brought treats. Now, every day brings more surprises for me. He even let me pet his head without running and hiding! I know it’s not just the cage, but it began the process of healing for Moshi. My other baby piggy (Twig) is stupidly happy, new cage or not, and I love it! I’m sure he’s helping Moshi by example. It’s been over a year since I invested in the large 2x4 with narrow loft for our two girls and it was so worth it! The quality of the grids and connectors, and instructions really show a genuine care for cavies. The loft is so smart in giving more living space within the same footprint. Our piggies are super happy with this cage and I feel like it’s much healthier than the pet store cages. Thank you for great products that focus on our furry fluffy cuties.

This is an amazing cage! very spacious, bigger than i expected it to be. My piggies love it. Reason i give it four stars instead of five, the instructions werent very clear took three hours to assemble,theres no bottom to keep it secure, and the sides are way too short, my piggies kick bedding up everywhere. but other than that im in love with this cage. i just wish i could find a table big enough to put it on.

My old guinea pig past away and he was i a small store bought cage and i knew it was too small but i didnt have the time to take him out so much. I got a new guinea pig right after i bought one from here my baby guinea pig loves the room and later i got her a friend.

My son is anticipating the arrival of two guinea pigs in approximately two weeks. We set out to find an acceptable home for them. After much research, we decided on this cage. We ordered it on Monday and it quickly arrived on Saturday. It was easy to assemble and is so big that I know we made the right decision. It will allow our piggies to grow with plenty of room for fun. We also purchased the kitchen insert. I love the idea of having an easily designated place for eating. If I had it to do over again, I would buy this same cage and insert. Now...we just wait on the guinea pigs to come enjoy their new home.

<p>I recently purchased this 2x4 cage with narrow loft. The quality of this product is outstanding!! The color options are nice, I choose pink. The cloroplast and grids were assembled with ease. It took me maybe 30 minutes to put together. The ramp is sturdy and well made. The carpet on the ramp is durable and has nice traction bumps to help my piggies make their way up to the loft. I also ordered the chew guards to help keep my cage looking nice and cloroplast clear of little gnawing teeth. They work well. If you're planning to purchase this cage I suggest you also look into purchasing the cavy cafe. I use fleece bedding and it helps minimize the mess that gets onto the bedding. It keeps hay in the cafe area really well. My piggies use this for a potty area for the most part which makes cleanup a breeze. I highly suggest this addition. I could go on and on about the great features of this caging system. The options are endless. Customer service is great!! I asked for white chew guard for my ramp (the pics all show black) to match my cage and they accommodated my need for perfection. Shipping was quick. I ordered late Monday evening and received it Friday. I am a first time piggie owner and I'm so glad I did my research and found that this cage is a great choice for optimal health and happiness. For the money you pay at a big chain pet store for the largest cage they carry you might as well invest in a C&C. My little girls (furry and human) and I couldn't be more happier!! Bought a cage from Sue and she was nice enough to send extra coroplast which I used to build a second level! My two pigs are happier than ever and the old man is moving about and enjoying himself once again! The difference in attitudes is remarkable and I hope everyone builds their pets a C&C cage.

This is my first time having guinea pigs and after doing alot of research and videos, I came across this site. They seemed to have the best reviews and better service from what I'd seen and I'm glad I went with them. I ordered the cage on a Friday night and received it literally Monday morning. It was easy to assemble and seems pretty sturdy. I'm super excited and very happy with this cage.

I purchased the 2x4 with the loft last year. It was the first time i had piggies so i was so confused with all the sizes i should have and the wrong sizes not to have.. But after shopping here and receiving my kit i was so pleased the ordering process all the guess work is taken out and the delivery was fast. My piggies were so happy with their new space, that i upgraded them this year to a 2x5 and im still looking to make different shapes so my piggies don't get bored .. i will keep shopping here for my up grades.
