I just want to say thank you for the cage it is great! So much bigger than what a pet store will sell! Going to get a little friend for my solo guinea pig now!
Our Guinea Pig loves her cage, we adopted from the local shelter and as soon as we had gotten the new cage ready for her she was hopping and squeaking all over. She has so much room. It's great!
I bought this a year ago when I had two piggies. I never realized how cramped they were in the old cage we had until they bounded around this one. It's so much easier to clean, too. Now, we have three females that are well bonded. They all love this cage and still have plenty of room. I'm thinking about going a little bigger soon, but, for three well bonded females, this cage works great.
Hi,My name is Katy and I'm 12. I just got my guinea pigs, Patches and Ebony, today from a rescue. They were in a much smaller cage before we adopted them, and when we placed them in their cage, they started running and popcorning! Thank you so much for the great cage. We've had a 2 x 4 C & C cage for about a year and a half for our 2 female piggies. They love it and we couldn't be more pleased. We line it with a piece of plastic table cloth that we buy at Party City in large rolls and put Cell Sorb litter on top of that. Makes clean up a little easier. The cage is great and we've recommended it to others.
my critters love these cages and so do i! all the customization options make them a pretty stylish choice, and they're really easy to put together! but of course the main draw is how roomy they are. i have bunnies, not piggies, and they're super happy with all the space! a way better (and cheaper!) alternative to most pet store cages, and i recommend them to anyone who will listen to me. not just for piggies! the service is great too. i've never had any issues with my shipments; they always arrive really fast and with all the right pieces!
Henry and Bruce LOVE their new 2X4 home...Henry even 'popcorns' once in awhile!!! They are so active and vocal! Great decision to buy from Sue...and so easy to put together. I think it took 10 minutes!
Previous cage was 5 foot round pen, but the mat underneath didn't last. This is good, sturdy material with plenty of space! I have one guinea pig, (who needs to be alone for reasons), but I wanted to find housing for her that would be even better than what she had before. There is nothing else out there like these cages. I'm thrilled with the product, and absolutely recommend it. You can't get anything like this in a pet store.
My Guinea Pig loves her new pen!! It's so nice and roomy and was super easy to put together. The shipping was fast and whenever I had a question, the CS was excellent and got back to me quickly. I also ordered the stand with this which in my book is a must. I ordered the large kitchen after I had this set-up and had it within 3 days. I will be back to purchase a patio when I am ready for an addition. :)

This was my first purchase from Guinea Pig Cages Store, and I couldn't be happier! The shipment arrived quickly, the color was just as described, and my two adult female piggies love their new home! They were rescues and had lived for 3-4 years in a small, 17"x30" cage, so it took them a while to adjust to so much space, but now they are so much happier! They "talk" to me more, run around and "popcorn" (which they couldn't do before), and are just more active! This cage is easier to clean, as well. I don't have to haul it outside and dump the contents, just scoop out the litter, wipe the bottom and sides clean (I use a mixture of vinegar and water) and put down clean litter. I'm planning on switching to the fleece flippers, as well. I can't wait to see how "the girls" do with those! Thank you so much for your quick help in figuring out my order as well!
When I adopted my first guinea (Shammy) I wasn't aware of anything like a C&C cage. I bought what I thought was a large cage for my pig. I joined some guinea pig forums on MySpace and they were talking about these C&C cages so I looked into them and decided to give them a try. What a difference! I now have two pigs (Shammy & Peppy) and both are super psyched about the extra room they have. They sometimes popcorn from one end to the other! The grids are super easy to put together and the coroplast is light and easy to clean. It also folds flat when I have to travel with it. I originally bought the 2x4 coroplast a while back but my pigs are bigger now so I wanted to give them a little more room to run around so I upgraded them to the 2x5 size. Love the set up. I have a 2x4' cage and will add to it. I recently added a baby to my family. She is 3 weeks old, and was suppose to be a he. I am enlarging the cage so I can section it off for each cavy. At the moment they are housed together. What I did on my cage, is take the center top and bottom connector off and created a door, which remains open for better access to my cavys. I guess I was lucky because the cage went up without a hitch. I had no trouble with the connectors, but still used the ties to further secure things. I do recommend this cage for all cavys.
No question about it. Best guinea pig cage throughout my whole experience !!!! If you have one guinea pig it would be like guinea pig heaven in there, and two guinea pigs are perfect there. Some good stuff.
I started out in a pet store cage, the biggest one I could find. Imagine how mad I was when I found out that it wasn't even big enough for 1 guinea, let alone my two babies, Lily and Leia. I just ordered my cage and can't wait for it to arrive. I know just how big it is since I saw my friend's. She also has two pigs, Hyacinth and Holly. They all love each other. I just got my c&c cage today, and I LOVE it. I should say, my 2 piggies LOVE it. They were both doing the happy dance. What a difference in them. I can clearly see how happy they are. Thank you C&C for caring so much about these little guys that you figured out a way to make "mansions" for them.
OMG. My GPs are SO HAPPY. I just returned from out of town with my GPs (yes, my son insisted we take them with us to the beach) and their original store bought cage. It is a shoebox compared to their new C&C Cage which was SO EASY to assemble. From the moment Pippi, Blackout and Chipper were place in their new home, they were new GPs - hopping and wheeking and sniffing and just plain HAPPY. Thank you Sue. We love our GPs and our new C&C Cage!
I bought this cage after getting two guinea pigs from a lady who originally bought them for her son, he didn’t treat them well and they were constantly in a tiny cage not even suitable for a hamster. Since putting them in this cage an hour ago they are no longer the shy constantly hidings piggies I was given a few days ago, now they’re both running around bouncing into the air and wheeking. This cage has definitely made a happy owner and very happy piggies!
I have been a cavy owner for about five years now. I have four girls that all live in a 2x6 c&c cage. I just ordered a 2x4 coroplast from sue today. I plan on making a 4x4 c&c cage with the new 2x4. The girls love it! I cant wait until it comes!! Im so excited. In the five years the coroplast has lived quite well. Its easy to clean and looks very clean.
My poor piggy was in a small pet store cage and he was not happy you could tell!! Once i got my c&c cage it was like he was a different piggy. He was popcorning and running laps it was so funny and it made him very happy.

I LOVE THIS CAGE!!!!!! It's spacious roomy and my guinea pigs love it. There 's room for all the furniture and much bigger than my old store bought cage. I highly recommend that any one with a guinea pig should buy a C&C cage for them. Your guinea pig will love there new home. Just like mine did!

I had done a lot of research before we got our rescued baby sisters. I knew I wanted a C & C cage. I couldn't find the correct size grids anywhere in Nashville. It just came yesterday and was sooo easy to put together. Our babies have a 2x4 that is bigger than anything they've ever been in and are hopping around like crazy! After I put together the main cage we went to Lowe's and bought the two pieces of shelving for the top...they cut to size and we paid under $20 for both. I LOVE this cage and they do too! We'll probably add on a new level when they're grown. Thank you!
I bought a large C&C cage last year for my piggy and she absolutely loved it! I now have two new piggies coming home with me on Saturday and have purchased again from Sue so that they have a nice big cage. I don't know how I ever put up with store bought cages after using the C&C cages! They are great. :)
Well I just recently got a cage here from Sue. I bought a 2X4 grid set up. I didn't think it would be big, but my boyfriend was helping me put it together and it is huge. If i was a guinea pig I would think I was living in a castle! LOL! I love and pigs love it! Thanks Sue!
Well, I just got my cage supplies. It seemed like forever waiting for it, truth is it didn't even take long :-}. It was so simple to put together, it only took me about 20-25 mins. And I was amazed at how huge it really was once it was done and over with :-B. Lets just say it is about 5X the size of the old one.....I know horrible right? But now Georgia loves it in there, she was so psyched and took all night exploring her new home. It has been so long since I last saw her that happy, it was the reason I bought her. She was the happiest camper at the pet store. I love her. She even thanked me by giving kisses 8-0. And with all the extra space, next week she will be getting a partner in crime. This time I think I will be looking for adopting instead. Thank you so much Sue for all the help, you even E-mailed me the same day I ordered my stuff to make sure that everything was what I wanted. This site is awesome, I find myself here almost everyday just to look and see, and learn more. To all the great people involved in making this site I love you guys, you guys are great, and THANK YOU.
