I tried my own hayracks and containers but they all made a mess! This one is perfect and the pigs love it. It was worth the money!
Wonderful hayrack for the piggies! Not too big, not too small, and perfect for holding enough hay to last the day. It's a nice size for two piggies, and really is a lifesaver when it comes to daily cage sweeping and twice-a-week fleece washings, as it keeps the hay off the ground. My piggies used to waste so much hay because it would get all over the floor of their cage (I would put it in a bowl) and pee and poop on it. No chew marks have shown up on the rack, either. Once and a while the guineas will unhook one side of the hayrack from the cage bars so it's hanging crooked, but that's not a big deal. Great service, shipping was decent. All and all, a great purchase. The piggies and I are very happy!
<p>We've tried other hay racks from pet stores and they were just to hard for our girls to get to the hay, this is the best one ever! they can easy get the hay out, it holds quite a bit of hay in it. This is going to save us so much in hay, thank you for wonderful product's and service.</p>
Small hayrack is the perfect size! My girl can easily pull hay out and I can easily move from cage to floor time. Customer service was outstanding and shipping was quick! Expensive for me to ship to the US but worth it!!!!
I've tried various ways of concocting my own hay rack and never liked the end result. This one is perfect. It's a good size for 1 or 2 pigs.
This hay rack is great, I can put enough hay in it to last my two piggies all day. This fits on the side of the 2x1 loft (on the 1 grid side). My piggies for some reason like to crawl underneath. I put it one square above the chloroplast because they are small still. They can even reach over and grab hay if they wanted to. Gave 5 stars for both product and service, would recommend!
this is great product!!! My guinea pigs love it and it's sort of spendy but other wise, it's great!!! Its real cool because my guinea pigs don't eat the bedding anymore and its safe.

The best hay rack I've found, by far. Most of the hay racks sold in pet stores are very high and narrow. This rack is the perfect size to supply a good amount of hay for 1-2 pigs, and it's low enough that they can reach over the top easily.
I tried two pet store-bought hay racks before switching to this one. The store-bought ones were problematic - one made it impossible for the guineas to get the hay out and the other, a ball, worked well at dispensing hay but would often dump hay to the ground when I tried to top it up. This hay rack, however, is PERFECT - easy for the guineas to use, but also easy for me to install, move, and fill. Generous size, our guineas will be happy with it even when they are adults.
What a wonderful addition! This keeps their home much more clean! A must have!!
