Our guinea pig pups were hesitant to use the ramp at first. They were slow and cautious, but as soon as we added the fleece liners (sold on Guinea Pig Market) to the ramp they became daredevil racers, zooming up and down the ramp! If you have a piggy who is interested in the ramp, but hesitant, definitely consider adding the fleece covers. We were shocked by the difference! It isn't that expensive either.
I tried making my own ramp.... the. I gave up and ordered this and could not be more happy with it!
Beautiful and sturdy ramp. Was going to make my own and I glad didn't nothing would of come out as great as this! I love how my two year old got a hold of it and no damage.
I must admit I was a bit hesitant upon buying this due to the price but now I have no regrets! The coroplast really does have metal wiring inside that gives it a strong structure and it’s very easy to bend into place after coming out the box. So far I’ve watched it withstand three of my piggies, one of which the veterinarian has said is obese LOL. My favorite part is the black parts on the sides to keep them from biting on it and the adhesive it comes with to put under the loft to keep it in place. Highly recommend! I’ve had other Wooden and plastic ramps, but this is by far my favorite and I love how it has side panels/walls that keep the piggies from falling. I literally laughed when I put it together because with the black plastic tops on the sides and the lines on the carpet, it really looked like an escalator which made my cage look extra fancy.
I recommend these ramps for anyone looking to expand their C&C cage. Years ago I priced out making my own ramp, and the carpet, and materials were already more then just buying the ramp, not including time. So we got the ramps and have been so impressed with it ever since. Recently we decided to get new ramps. These ones are 5 years old, and in great shape, but we wanted new colors and the new design of the angled base. Once again I am blown away with how good the ramps are. They look great in the cages, and my herd of 11 girls especially is enjoying the angle bottom of the ramp as now they dont log jam at the bottom if someone is eating or drinking and someone comes down. Once again another happy purchase.
I have made two very different versions of ramps that I really liked but I decided to try some sold by Guinea Pig Cages. I love them! They are excellent and I highly recommend them to anyone. They are well built, sturdy, and very easy for the guinea pigs to go up and down. You won't be disappointed.
I really like it but I must say it is a little on the pricey side!Great to the piggies and happy with the purchase??
My current ramp came with hooks on the underside to attach to the top, and it is very secure and easy to remove and clean. I can't see the attachment method on these pics?
These ramps are awesome. Very well-made and reinforced. They're wide and strong enough for my festively plump piggy to zoom up and down on (she zooms in slow-motion). They also come with the edging already on, which I am thankful for. They also have super sticky tape on them to attach to bottom of the loft.
This is a very sturdy ramp and our piggies love racing up and down it (including during the nightly dinner stampede). It's held up well structurally, but we just ordered another because our pigs definitely love chewing on this and they've done some damage. They have plenty of other things to chew, they're just fond of gnawing the ramp for some reasonable unfathomable to mere humans. :)
It took all of two seconds for our guineas to happily use the ramp, the design of which is so clever, and so very sturdy as they both race and bounce on it, several times an hour.
