<p>Easy assembly. Keeps hay from going all over the cage :)</p>

Being new to guinea pigs, I had no idea how much poop they could make - and all over the place. As I went to order the large cage, I included this on a whim with the offset lounge, and I’m so glad I did. The girls love it, at least 85% of their poops end up in here, and they love this area to eat and do their business. Having fleece throughout and then just bedding in this is a perfect compromise. The girls do still burn rubber out of the kitchen when it’s time for Zoomies and toss bedding around, but it’s a small price to pay for a place they enjoy so much. Ingenious inclusion!

<p>I have owned piggies for over 2 years now and I have a total of 8 cutie pies now. We have (2) 2x6 cages with a 2x2 loft and use the kitchen area for both cages on the end. I put paper bedding in the kitchen area along with pellet food and water off to the side. It works amazingly! I do spot clean any stray hay and poo that is in the rest of the cage, but it takes me maybe 15 minutes total each day. And once a week I machine wash all the fleece. I love my piggies and am always looking for ways to make it better and guineapigmarket.com and guineapigcages.com are the best way to do it! Their products are top of the line and my piggies are so happy!</p>

I've had my Jumbo Deluxe Cage with wide loft for about 6 month and I just love it. So much space my boys never fight. It is so great that they can get alone time if they need to. The only chattering I ever hear is when I pick them up, never at each other anymore. The only person who hates it is my boyfriend because the thing is huge! It was so easy to put together my 5 year old helped with no issues. I love the snapping connectors and pre-cut holes in the chloroplast!The directions were clear and we had it up in maybe 30 minuets or less.

<p>We just got our kitchen today and our piggy girls love it, it is big enough for both our girls to use it at the same time with a bowl, salad plate, bottle and hay rack in it. Great service as always!</p>

First, let's talk about customer service. I built my C&C cage myself, and it's about 1/2 wider than the standard size. The product dimensions are clearly listed on the website, so I knew when I ordered the cafe that it would not be a perfect fit. I would just figure something out for the bit of space (1/4 inch) on either side. Imagine my surprise when Sue emailed me back after I placed the order! Without me even having to ask, she volunteered to have the coro cut especially to my cage specs - she was so helpful and friendly. So I now have a "custom" cafe now that fits perfectly thanks to her going the extra mile. Add to that the fact that I placed the order on 3/26, it was shipped on 3/27 and I received it on 3/29 - you can't ask for faster service/delivery than that. So 5 stars for customer service, from start to finish!



Next, product review. My piggies pee and poo mostly where they eat, so having a kitchen area that's big enough for them, a food bowl, hay rack and water bottle has really cut down on cleaning. I don't have to do a complete cage change (fleece) as often, there are fewer poos to sweep daily, less hay stuck all over the fleece, and a longer time before we start to get a whiff of that "barn-like" smell. :-) I've been using carefresh over newspaper in the cafe, so have just been cleaning that every couple of days, but think I may want to try fleece, and have potty pads on top that I would change every 1-2 days to cut down on the cost (it will, I know, increase my laundry!). Either way, I love this cafe!

I am new to piggy parenting & was upgrading to a C&C cage & found this kitchen on here! I'm so thankful I did! It is an amazing idea! My piggies absolutely love this area to eat, play & mostly poop in! My new baby Tucker loves to go in any corner he can find! Still trying to train him! Lol! It was bigger than I thought, even for a 2x4 cage it took up one cage panel on the end...hope that helps someone! Thank you so much for the great instructions & timely delivery!

This cafe has made amazing changes in our piggies cage. We are planning on changing the fleece liner today, it's been down for 2 weeks and quite honestly, could go for another 2. Our piggies do 99% their business in the cafe :o). The only thing we have to do on a daily basis is pick up a few random poops from the fleece. I highly recommend this item, It's been a brilliant investment for us :o)

I am usually one to DIY when it comes to my cages, but the quality & precision of this design was too hard to pass up! I am very happy with my purchase. The product arrived in perfect condition, and it was simple to build. It even came with instructions in color! But most importantly, it is piggy-approved. Nearly all the messes stay in this area, ensuring that the rest of the cage stays clean. I would definitely recommend it!

I bought this with my initial purchase of the 6x2 cage & cover. I love having a space for all of the food & hay, and by doing so, most of the mess in contained in the kitchen but, I wish I had purchased one of the larger sizes. I have 2 boys, 2 1/2 years old, so they’re full grown. I keep a fresh salad and veggie bowl, dry food dish, dried salad dish, & hay holder inside so it really doesn’t leave much room for my boys. It does make it much easier & quicker to clean the cage so if your thinking of adding this item, I’d suggest you consider one of the larger ones if you have the space. All in all I do love it.

This is perfect for my cage to keep my hedgehog from spreading her loose bedding all over the fleece. Not to mention it keeps her other messes in one nice area so I dont have to was fleece twice a day. It was so easy to assemble to thanks to the the strong adhesive already on the flaps. The only downside to it is that the adhesive inst strong enough to stay up with my hedgehog digging at it, though it was a quick fix to glue it up and now we couldn't be happier.

Great product, but oh my gosh the UPS service fees are a pain in the butt. I'm ordering from Canada and I was warned about it, and sure enough it's ridiculously expensive. Fair warming!

This little kitchen area catches 90 percent of my boy’s bathroom messes, leaving the fleece clean and dry save for a few random poops. The pellet bowl, hay rack, and water bottle all fit nicely in it. The only exception is when a pig decides to stand beside the kitchen instead of in it. This only happens when they both decide they want hay. I haven’t done a full cage clean yet! Love it.

We purchased this for our 2 pigs who are in a 2x4 C&C. The product is well made and keeps the hay and associated mess (poos and pees) in one area, helping reduce smell and making clean up quick. We use fleece throughout the cage, but put CareFresh inside of the cafe itself.



The one challenge we had with it, which is not a major issue, is that both pigs don't fit in the Cafe at the same time. It is still a huge benefit to have the Cafe -- one pig is in the Cafe, and while the other one is outside, it still means that the poo and pee are concentrated on the outside (instead of scattered) and the hay is in one place. We just put extra pee pads on the fleece where the one pig hangs out. The front "wall" is short enough that it is easy for the pig to eat the hay, but tall enough that the hay and CareFresh stay inside. We can't use a hayrack with it, though, because of this issue.



We love the Cafe and will be purchasing another for our other 2x4 C&C.

This insert for the cage provides the ability for easy clean up.My male 6month old guinea pig is very messy but this cafe actually potty trained him.All his mess is contained .I just roll up his pee pads (this liner requires 2 regular sized pads)and throw them out.Also,service was amazing my package came fast and I had no issues .My money was well spent !

Hi I am adopting my first guinea pig and to be honest this looks like an amazing cage you could never find Half of this quality and space a pet shop the cage's i saw at the pet shop were so small its like putting a human in a closet and they charged 32$ but for this the room looks amazing and the price is unbeatable I think this would be a great cage for someone who's starting and on budget!

<p>my 2 piggies do most of there business in this café keeping the rest of the cage cleaner longer. I put a puppy peewee pad on the bottom to line it and then add odor control bedding. works like a charm.</p>

This is a brilliant idea for my piggies tutu and chichi they started to use it immediately and I've noticed the cage is alot cleaner with it. One of my favorite purchases. Thank you

After two weeks of trying Carefresh all over our 2x4 C&C cage we quickly saw the beauty in fleece flippers and we ordered the Cavy Cafe for one end of the cage. It has been phenomenal. Not only is the product quality, and did it arrive quickly, the pigs do 95%+ of "their business" in the litter box we have placed in the Cafe, or in the nearby Carefresh in the Cafe. We have two pellet bowls, two water bottles, a litter box, and a large hay rack in the Cafe (for two piggies). It took some thoughtful arranging, but they fit fine and we have virtually no hay, Carefresh, or urine elsewhere in the cage (on the fleece). (We put the litter box so one side of it is on the outside wall of the cage and the other side is a divider between the fleece area and the kitchen, rather than putting it in the back corner -- this works because the lip of the Cafe is high enough to keep it in place, and I think this is a great way to further separate the fleece and kitchen areas and to keep them clean. One pig likes to stand in the litter box while reaching over to the hay rack, which works nicely for catching her mess -- but it's far enough away that the hay doesn't really drop into the litter box.) Because they do so much of their business here while eating, we are conscientious to spot clean it each time we pass by so they don't get turned off and it doesn't smell. It's super easy to do, super contained, and as a result, no smell, no mess, and we are thrilled! THANK YOU!

I have five guinea pigs. I bought two of these and they are fantastic! I’m buying a third. The piggies love them much more than the store bought options that are so small. Has made cleaning much easier!

I ordered this to go with my medium cage + loft because I didn't want the fleece getting so dirty. It definitely does its job! Pablo piggy only sleeps in kitchen now! AMAZING PRODUCT!

For far too long, we had been suffering (the humans, that is) with a mostly recycled-paper cage, with the U-Haul & fleece combos just in the loft. The years of expense, effort, and time involved in cleaning & replenishing a large C&C cage were finally wearing us out. The very day we received the kitchen and placed it in the cage, with fleece liners in all the rest, was a happy day! And best of all, our guinea pigs were intrigued and seemed to love the convenience themselves. Don't hesitate! The biggest decision to make is which color to pick. :)

I use this in my 2 x 4 C&C and I fill it up with litter material. The rest of the cage has fleece flippers from Guinea Pig Market. My two guinea pigs barely poop outside of the cafe, my fleece remains very clean. All the food and poop remains in the cafe, it's awesome. It's been a great investment.

It is so amazing how most of there poop now end up in the cavy cafe. It is a perfect space for them to eat chill and play! I kinda didnt notice how big it is especially if they are leaving in a 2x3 cage. -oops But it is a perfect fit and they love it!



As soon as I put it in they both were popcorning and having such a great time lol.
