Is there a way to provide access to the lower level from the level right above it with this set up? If so how? I would love to try to create this but I am unsure how to pull this off. I have 4 female piggies and they are currently in a 2 X 4 with a single access loft and base.

Absolutely. You just need a ramp https://www.guineapigcagesstore.com/candc-ramp and a portal grid https://www.guineapigcagesstore.com/special-cut-grid. Then just cut an entrance opening in the cage above. As long as you don't need a cover. If you do need a cover, then you need two portal grids and you'd need to cut the floor entrance as well as shown on our lofts. Let us know if you have additional questions. :)

THank you for reading

The comments above from Sept and Oct about ramps. Is this for two full sized stacked cages? I would also like to do this as I have limited space but want to give them room to run. Do you have any pictures of this set up showing the entrances?

Yes, this set up shows two full size large cages (not connected) with the component list above. If you want to connect the two large cages, and you DON'T need a cover, you only need to cut a simple 6" wide opening in the wall of the upper cage (similar to making the ramp entrance on our patio). You would need a portal grid used vertically and a ramp. Of course, double that if you are modifying with two ramps. If you DO need a cover, then the ramp entrance needs to be recessed into the floor of the upper cage so the cover can bypass the ramp. (see example on our loft base. https://www.guineapigcagesstore.com/loft-coro-wide-inset ) You would then make a similar opening on the upper cage wherever you choose to locate the ramp. You would need a portal grid used horizontally (on the floor) and a ramp. Double that if you're modifying with two ramps. ;)

We are trying to recreate this habitat but with some changes (smaller cages with 3x2 panels, covers on all 3 levels, a single ramp from the first to the second level, and we'd like the 3rd level to be on the other side....). How would I go about getting a component list that includes all of our changes so I can be sure I order the correct pieces?
