Cage of Aquarius

February Horoscope: Make a Splash!

Come celebrate the dawning of the Cage of Aquarius featuring our translucent Large (2x4 grid) Cage. We also added our Pigture Windows to let the sunshine in! Curious cavies can explore the scenery from TWO Narrow Lofts while more daring piggies can swim with sharks in the Fleece Forest. Once the adventures are over be sure to invite your piggies to stop by our Cavy Cafe Kitchen for gourmet meals or our Hearty Acres Corral for all-you-can-eat hay. Align your creation in true harmony with fleece bedding and cozy accessories in the Baby Sharks fleece collection from Guinea Pig Market and let your piggies guide the planet.

The Large (2x4 grid) cage is recommended for 2-3 female guinea pigs. For 2 males, we highly recommend upgrading to the XL (2x5 grid) Cage.

Is there a way to make this a covered cage?

Yes, it's possible. You'd need 6 grids, some zip ties, and TWO Wonder Bars, placed on each end to support it. You would follow the layout shown on for covering the WIDE LOFT section on our two level cages. So, from the menu, STRUCTURE > COVERS (Flip-Fold) > FLIP-FOLD COVER: LARGE/WIDE LOFT. On the menu, the Wonder Bars are found under: COMPONENTS > Rods & Support Bars. If it's for cats, you might want to add two Mini Grids to cover the openings at the top of the ramp: COMPONENTS > GRIDS.

How many grids and connectors would you need to make the bottom of a 2x4 C&C cage into storage cubbies like the one featured under the cage above?

If you click on the Cage Stand in the list of items above and then the 'What's Included' tab for that item, you'll find the grid and connector count and anything else needed to make that item. All of our products have a "What's Included" tab that gives you counts and lists of everything needed for that item. (
