Area 51

The Truth is Out There!

Our Area 51 creation is out of this world, featuring a Covered Large (2x4 grid) Cage and a Kitchen Suite with our NEW Undercover Canopy - which has been designed to work with our covered cages! It's the perfect place for piggies to share healthy snacks with little green visitors using our Hearty Hay Buffet. Add stellar fleece bedding and accessories in the Northern Lights fleece collection from Guinea Pig Market to complete your conspiracy bunker.

The Large (2x4 grid) cage is recommended for 2-3 female guinea pigs. For 2 males, we highly recommend upgrading to the XL (2x5 grid) Cage.

NEW Undercover Canopy for Covered Cages

Our Undercover Canopy is designed with covered cages in mind. Two "Skinny Grids" support the canopy and are small enough to be out of your way for cleaning, feeding and refilling hay. The canopy is easy to slide out or be lifted off entirely as desired. The Undercover Canopy allows your pigs that sense of privacy which encourages the use of the Cavy Cafe kitchen area below for pottying, no matter if the grid cover is open or closed.

If you need to drop it below the connectors to allow for a cover, then you just use a few zip ties to attach it in the corner.

You can do a half-height patio, The Porch Patio, for example.

Hi, I like the idea of the taller back wall since my cage will be against a wall but what would do to fit in a patio? Cut the wall down where the wonder bars extend to? The case will be an uncovered 2x4 for 2 girls. Thanks!

Exactly right! You just need to cut the wall down where you need to be able to add the Wonder Bars. Good scissors or a single-edge razor blade or box cutter will do. Measure 10 times, cut once! :)
