It only took me about an hour and a half to put together and my girls LOVE it. It's so much bigger and sturdier than the 2 midwest cages I had together. I ordered it Thursday morning and got it Monday afternoon.
<p>So first of all I have 2 male guinea pigs (Wilbur & Orville) and I had a standard pet-store bought cage for them as they were very small. I wanted a c&c cage but because of where I live it would be a hassel to get all the materials. When I came across this site I was so happy to find somewhere I could buy a cage with all the necessary parts. I ordered a XL covered cage (2x5 Grids) on Saturday June 3rd. I was worried it would take long because of me living in a remote part of Northern Ontario (Canada). But my package arrived Thursday June 8th! My boyfriend assembled it for me (as I was away at the time) and he said it was very simple and the instructions were easy to follow. I was also given extra pieces of coroplast which apparently protected the cage from being damaged during shipping. Once the cage was built I was very impressed with the structure of it. My guinea pigs were so happy to have so much room and have not stopped popcorning! The one reason why I haven't given this 5 stars was because I believe the opening lid of the cage could have had a better design, it functions well but it should maybe offer and small handle and a better way to connect the two panels that sit side by side.</p><p>But overall if you're thinking about purchasing cage I 100% recommend it!</p>
Easy to put together. took about 2 hours to complete. My first pig lived in a very small store bought cage, and he was lonely. so we bought this cage and tomorrow we r buying another pig for him! wonderful! my cavy keeps on pop corning! it's fabulous! only complaint is my guinea pig keeps on nibbling on the edge of the coroplast, and I'm not quite sure what to do about it as i don't want him to ingest it. overall, wonderful cage!
<p>This cage is seriously the best. I've never seen my piggies happier. They have so much room to popcorn and run. Pretty easy to assemble too. Highly recommend</p>
This is a beautiful looking home. I LOVE the colour selection! The coroplast and grids are super sturdy and high quality. I wasn't sure how easy it would be to use the lid system but needed a covered cage due to having cats. It couldn't be EASIER! In fact, I put together multiple cages to make huge ones and the lid system is so easy and efficient. I can even get in and out easily to catch piggies for cuddling and to clean! :D
I just put this cage together last night and i love it i cant stop watching my two little guys run around they were up all night enjoying all the new space! It took me about 3 hours to put it together ..i am HORRIBLE at putting things together and i managed to do this with no help so i was very pleased! I will never return to the old pet store cage again!!
<p>If you are a guinea pig rookie i seriously recommend getting this cage. It is steardy, roomy, very high quality, and a wonderful upgrade from a store bought cage. If you are cautious about the cage you should get, this one is a good size for 3 females, and the cover, and cage is steardy...if you do get this cage I recommend getting the stand for it. It's worth it in the long run.</p>
